Hello chaps/ chapesses.....

Moved into this house just over 2 years ago and new kitchen had just been fitted including this Belling IDW45 integral dishwasher. Recently Mrs RevJ has been complaining the dishes arent clean coming out and it seems that the water isnt getting hot enough. Its on a cold fill so relies entirely on internal heating to get water hot.

Took it into work and removed outer panels etc and hooked it up to power and water and put it though a cycle which should have been piping hot. Water was eventually probably about 40C or so. Should be really hot. Heater seems to be a chamber on the end of the pump with a sensor or switch attached too. Element obviously works but not getting hot enough. Anyone had any experience with these machines before? Will take pics tomorrow

Without wishing to teach you to suck eggs, are you sure that the arms are both spinning properly? I find that sweetcorn blocks the odd nozzle, then the entire cleaning cycle is compromised.

Found it, shorted it out and found the thing managed to get quite hot so replacement ordered from espares at a cost of £6
