Hi Everyone, I'm taking my AM2 test next week ,and was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice or Pointers on what to expect, many thanks

Read up on testing procedures (GN3 is required, important) and certificate filling.
Be sure to be confident in your connections, do the tug test because they will.

Most failures are on the safe isolation elements so make sure you've practised them till you can do them blindfold (not actually blindfold as that would be a fail though). Don't give anyone the lock hasp key either.

Safe isolation is a must, but like other lads have said have a read up on gn3, take your time if unsure ask rather then trying to blag it, when I did mine (nearly 20 years ago) the faults they put on was easily found apart from one on an isolator we’re they’d took the pins out to make contaction to the fused isolator(which It took me a while to find naughty :)) but I guess it changes from collages, mr apprentices has asked for advice which has changed massively since I did it.
