Scottish Power now been. Have now got this.

 I expected the disconnected earth cable to go to the metal consumer head but man from Scottish Power said it was much more complicated than that.

We will wait and see next Thursday. However my experience with Scottish Power is very poor. Their admin is absolutely terrible.

Dig up cable outside. Renew main cable in to meter.

Scottish Power coming to fix it next Thursday at no cost to me. Confirmed.

Yes I can see it the other end is not connected to anything. Why do I need to repeat it?
