look at getting air con fitted then. for cheaper to run than electric heating if you oly have 2 single sockets and you've lived there...

im guessing they do have heating but its not working, hence the heaters providing the extension lead is a decent quality one that's...

if you plan to use it often, consider air con instead of electric heaters. they are far more efficient and cost less to run

flap vent sealed shut and fill the void with insulation / foam other than that, they can get a builder to come and brick it up

sabre saw even easier than grinder (or cordless bandsaw even easier again), and there is no hot sparks from it, which may be an issue...
