Hi Guys, I have a question about derating for grouping factors. I understand how to use Cg (etc..) and why. But what would be the maximum run of grouped cables to not have a derating factor applied? eg. cables leaving the rear of a CU could be grouped for a very short run, possibly only ~50mm...

Ah I've seen this mentioned, so you could run jus line and neutral in metal conduit and use the conduit itself as the CPC? (I know we're going off subject for the thread, just interested)

This is my thinking the training is genuinely good and the tutor is very knowledgeable. So, knowledge wise I'm on the right path, but what good is that if I can't prove it at the end 🤷

Jesus you lads go though some nonsense. Thanks for all this extra information, I have put effort into looking for it but there is so much to look for (and lots of contradicting information) that I never know what to think most of the time
