It came with a loose earth cable that was part of the fixture . However on the bracket there is no screw terminal , neither is there anything to attach it to , inside the shell of the base . I know that the earth is giving problem as the light won't switch on at all .

Thanks for the links. I wasn't happy with the angle grinders I've seen .A multi tool looks ideal and has plenty of attachments . I have a choice between Dremel .Ryobi and Parkside
