Usually  is a driver problem or maybe it was an windows update that gives those kind of problems try changing USB port and update your windows and you should  try a 1 quid mouse from the poundshop I think you will be surprised 

From last year all the majority of websites changed there code to html5 and all flash plugins are almost extinct so no do not install Adobe flash player just update your browser and do not worry 

Test first, use another sim in the phone and see if it is the sim or the phone , if it is the sim request another one if it is a phone try to reset it if the above cleaning method does not help

Hi I would suggest  installing a debian based linux distro there are plenty and for a older machine  you could try antix linux or even as my name fluxuan linux or if you really have bad resources puppy linux and you might save some money ! Hope it helps.
