Sometimes I wonder why we as supposedly professional people come on to the these forums and give advice knowing that it's damaging our livelihood.
As not only will this guy try and follow our advise but others who read the forum in years to come will also do the same.
When there's nothing left...
I've got an 09 plate vivaro and to be fair it's been ok so far (63k) although the build quality does leave something to be desired.
I've changed the rear discs and pads already and the fronts will be changed before it goes for its mot.
It seems to be quite heavy on fuel too
WTF do we bother, seems just lately with all these idiots undercutting us I'd be better off working in TESCO!!!
My 19yr old daughter works there and I swear she's earnt more this week than me. rant over.....
Our 1720 did exactly the same , eventually got tired of double checking everything and sent it back.
Megger have a firmware fix supposedly ;) but enough was enough .
Our old 1552 did this but only with control gear rcd's where as the 1720 did it with a wider range of manufacturers.
Flukes...
Just sent mine back too, refunded straight away ! Although I was told they had a firmware update for the high zs readings and megger recommend swapping the line and earth leads for testing rcbo's .
We've had the same probs with our mft 1730, the zs readings are way way off and we have had to go back to using the 1552 for the live tests. Spoken to megger and they've admitted there is a problem but don't have an answer. After reading this I think I'll try and get a refund as well !!
