    Stainless steel kitchen worktops

I would think if the supply has RCD protection it’s not a problem, but if not, supplementary bonding should be in place.

Question about Earthing my data equipment

No, I think it was more of a safety thing, extraneous metal, and all that

Question about Earthing my data equipment

The mobile racks we used in broadcast TV had 10mm earth cable connected it was a multi strand (very fine) not like the solid 7/9 core in general earthing but if it’s a fixed rack that’s not an issue.

Question about Earthing my data equipment

If it needs earthing you will find specific lugs for that and the side panels will already have fly-leads in place.

Changing diamond cable point for master socket

Orange (3) is bell so not really necessary 2&5 line The polarity these days is not so important. The old Trim phones were polarity conscious! As an aside BT don’t like people messing with the master box and have prosecuted in the past. The new master boxes have a clamp system for the cables.

Light fault 'tripping' RCD on the ring circuits.

I agree with C15JON They all share neutrals with a common RCD, so low/short insulation N-E will give same result!!

RCD Tripping for no apparent reason

did you turn off or isolate the cooker? I would have been inclined to make a lead with open end to 13a socket!

    French Power

Some of the French systems are 240v L-N but the L is earthed!! Marina’s were a classic example you used to have to cary separate adaptors in France.

Advice on Shower and lighting circuit in outhouse.

why not install a 40w thermostat oil filled rad (tube) under it and leave it on 24/7 let the stat do the work! It would all need to be installed in an enclosure.
