My issue was fixed, there was a cross wire in the fuse box. I say it’s fixed, the usage on the GivEnergy app is on average about 0.4kWh difference each day and have asked my installer if that is a tolerance that is usually seen and within an acceptable range.

I have no idea, that’s what was installed and I have no idea if it’s been done correctly or not but trusted that as they’re MCS registered they should know what they’re doing, maybe I should ask more questions

My installer has been out after 5 weeks from install and believe it’s fixed now but will monitor it for the next few days. Turns out that they believe it was a cross wire in the fuse box that was causing the incorrect readings. Hopefully the next few days will confirm they have actually fixed it

The arrow on the top CT clamp is on the inside and is pointing up towards the fuse box. Still no response from the installer after trying to contact them a few times.

The top clamp doesn’t seem to have any arrow in it so can’t tell if it’s the right way or not

It looks like the lower one is connected to the car charger I had installed. I’ve asked the installer Box Energy to investigate and hopefully fix the issue.

I have 10xJA Solar 385W panels so it definitely doesn’t sound correct with your comparison. If I look at Friday the GivEnergy app is giving some odd figures, see photo attached while still saying I took nothing from the grid. I’ll give the installation guys a call tomorrow.
