Hi, Could someone please confirm that I am thinking along the right lines with this. (Ive never worked on a TT system) Just as an example........Say I install a circuit on a TT system. The Ze reading is 16 ohms  The R1 + R2 reading is 0.25 ohms. So if i calculated the Zs, it would be 16.25...

Hi, I`ve just been having a look at these compact RCBOs. So.......I understand they use a dual busbar, which gets rid of the neutral fly lead. But....... why doesnt it require an earth fly lead, like the normal size RCBOs ? Cheers

Well........I`ve managed to sort the dodgy ring circuit. Lucky for me, it was the leg at the low level socket. Whoever fitted the skirting board, stuck 2 nails right in line with the cables. The nail that hit the cable went straight through the earth, & half of the line conductor. (pics...
