Thanks for the replies, went back yesterday and they were still tripping the RCD's during the day. Found out that UK power are replacing the transformer for a larger one, and when we spoke to them they said that the house is on the end of the supply and the present transformer is no longer gig...
Ok not been on for a while kept saying password was wrong, so here you go help me out with this.

This is my point exactly, but this morning was told that the BRB as said in a previous post does allow it , and I have been over ruled but thanks for the replies CJS
This is my point , which is why I want another opinion , as I said if we were to put a 63 Amp 3 Phase MCB instead of main switch or a 100 Amp Fused Isolator before the Consumer Unit it would be OK.
OK guys need some advice.
Scenario 400 Amp 3 Phase head supplying 3 Phase isolator, Supplying a 3 Phase buzz bar. All this is connected with 150mm Cable so no problems here, The issue is there is a 24 way 3 phase consumer unit connected directly to the buzz bar with 25mm Tails, Does the...
I fly Radio Control models mainly Helicopters, have raced motocross but had to give it up do to work commitments would do it again tomorrow if work wasn't an issue.
Multiply MCB tripping current by rating factor ie. Type B X 5 Type C X 10 Type D X 20
Divide 230 Volts by result
Then multiply by 0.8 for correction factor.
B 6 Amp 60898 MCB
6X5=30
230/30=7.67
7.67 X 0.8= 6.14 ohms
Maximum Zs 6.14 ohms corrected
Hope this helps CJS
