  • Hi members,i am an electrician ( time served ) however i do not work in the trade but have gone to college and done my 17th edition and also recently done a couple of domestic rewires which have been certified.

    I am looking to obtain more experience ,i can work weekends and 1 day during the week ,i am flexible and keen and not looking for high finance in return,i have my own transport an tools.looking for work in the midlands area.Thanks

    Hi guys ,just a quick clarificaton reqd i am currently doing a re-wire to 17th editon,all ok however my query is that the current cu has a rccb as means of isolation,can i leave it as it is now or do i upgrade to one which has a rcd .thanks in advance.

    Hi guys just a quick question,wiring a new ring main in a kitchen extension,can i wire an external weatherproof double skt with rcd of this ring.thanks

    yes i do need a lift with a rewire ,i won't be able to pay you on this job as this is a favour for a friend who did some work for me,as well as gaining valuable experience as i'm trying to get back into the trade.

    hi ,i've been out of the game for a while ,i've just completed the 17th edition ,howver i have taken on a domestic rewire ,any good tips ,ie bonding in bahrooms and kitchens,am i right no bonding is reqd if protection via rcd.thanks in advance.
