Island mode is just that, its an island system, i suspect if it sees 50Hz coming from somewhere else it might get VERY upset, especially if it can't sync to the phase, that would release LOTS of magic smoke! You would need to be dead sure of what your doing with the appropriate lockouts before...

I have an isolated output on my Solis Hybrid specifically for loss of grid its a 3Kw circuit. It will also run in island mode if you delve into the software ;-)

My Solis Hybrid can be switched to do lead acid on the menu! Why anyone would want to use lead acid now unless they have been given them is beyond me ;-)

Can you post info on these as never heard of this before! You have to be very careful running 360V DC if its running on a flexible pcb, I assume its on wires but from what you said with the cut points it sound like its not. U sure its not 49v DC? That would then come into the low voltage banner...

A hybrid inverter generally means its got a DC output to feed a battery (be careful that isn't the battery of your choice, its a battery of their choice!) You just need a "multi string" inverter with separate MPPT for each channel. My own inverter is the Solis 5k which can take 5.8KW of panels...

Other questions are how high is your roof and what is it made from, will you need a scaffolding erected? If so find out how much that will be and get it done yourself perhaps? Deffo oversize panels go for G98 or G100 ( but from what i have heard Western Power dont understand G100 and add...

Go and check every mc4 connector, i have one that when left on the ground pops the RCD, if i suspend it in the air it doesn't! Took it apart (at night) and you could see moisture had seeped past the o ring. It only needs a very small amount! Might be worth adding a smidge of vasaline around...
