Glenns, how did you get on with your DNO application to UK Power Networks. I'm looking to do the same and hoping I might pick your brains. Also, many many thanks for the links/docs - I needed them!
It was pretty easy TBH... feel free to ask on the forum or drop me a direct message, just be aware... I'm a complete amateur ;):)

download form from DNO website.
Hi Binky ... UK Power networks have a web portal for it... you fill out everything online and submit from there....https://smartconnect.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/

Probably have a form too somewhere but I found this very convenient

Hi all,

I'm looking at getting the RHI-5K-48ES and have the G100 and ENA documents to show its fully type tested. Can I ask did you fill out a G99 A1.2 ?

If so what did you include for the :
Explanation / description of export limitation scheme operation including a description of the fail-safe functionality eg the response of the scheme following failure
I have a diagram showing the invertor and how it connects to a smart meter with a RS485 for the unit to limit the export and for the fail safes to kick in etc

Hi @slayer1551, I did my subnission via UK Power Networks smart portal , they don't use the typical forms but essentially I submitted all the certificates relating to the inverter, The G100 and G9X complaince certificates, I then had to agree that I would limit the esport capacity to 3.68kW per phase using the inverter.

I don't think most DNO's require a full breakdown of how the sytem will work for their benefit, I'm sure they know already. What they want is confirmation that you know how the system will work and how it will be protected in a failure.

you should be able to find one of these for your inverter
Thank you sooooo much for sharing this - I am about to apply to UKPN to add the Solis RAI and this was my missing link - I could not find the G100 cert for this model anywhere else! Out of curiosity where did you get hold of it from as I know of others desperately searching too as this AC coupled unit seems to be the only one even vaguely available at the moment…

Best place to find them is directly from the Solis support site or email [email protected]

If this helps, I managed to get my G99 application approved for the 6kW Solis with Western Power in 3days ! See this post on another forum for details.

Less than a day from UKPN for me with a 6kw Solis using their smart energy portal....great DNO in my experience.

Thanks, yep it's weird that they don't have it published on their support site under that model - they seem to have all the others - next step was the email, but I know of someone else who has now also obtained it that way so it seems to be being shared more widely in the public domain!

Once you've sent them an email they will get you to sign into the service center for support tickets (https://solis-service.solisinverters.com/). You can find lots of information on there regarding setup and installation.

You're most w

You're most welcome ;)(y)

Edit....Just to add... Solis UK support ( https://solis-service.solisinverters.com ) Have been pretty helpful, worth registering there if you have one of their inverters. They have all the wiring diagrams, setup guides, certificates and are pretty quick to respond to tickets.
are you applying for G99 or 98? in section where you information (qualifications etc) about installer does need to be company or yourself ? I have sparky friend alos I have C&G domestic electrician lvl 2 is that ok?
Also I have already found G100 declaration of conformance for my Inverter (growatt), do i need the same certyficate for my solar panels(JA Solar) does MCS approval for them would be ok?
