1970 the property.

How accurate do you perceieve this date to be. Unearthed lighting circuits were permitted (as long as no class 1 accessories) upto 1966, now it would seem that this property was built after that going on that date, however if thats just a building surveyours best guess, then could they be 5 or more years out?

Can we have a picture of the schedule of circuit details (may as well have schedule as tests as well)

What is the age of the installation stated on the EICR (its possible to be pretty close with the date of an installation if you know what belonged to what era)

C2 for lack of earth bonding labels, utter drivel. No RCDs, also drivel on an old system, although I would recommend getting them fitted. Can you post the circuit and test results page so we can assess the system better.

Thank you for all of your help. Luckily, the vendor is now going to pay for the work before completion thankfully

Gentlemen. This is a friendly forum, please refrain from your online bickering, it does not look good to any one trying to do research and all they see is several of you arguing. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, you do not have to like said opinion, but you do have to respect it.

(As mentioned earlier) I have removed several posts and a few collateral damage posts.

Locked in 2023 to prevent being resurrected (again)
