Who remembers the good old days when downlights gave you enough space to stick your arm, (or head), into the hole in the ceiling void.... which aided access to wiring...?????
And hole-saws were NOT big enough.. So the 'circle' was cut with a pad-saw!
( Before the days of 'Fire' and/or 'IP' rated fittings )
Taken out today...
{ Replaced with some poxy small fixed GU10 JCC fireguard 74mm cans!!! }
I am sure with a bit of Gaffa-Tape & a fire-hood I could have re-used these????
Progress? my-ar5e!!
