As heading - I (well, my bro) need some singles and some doubles. (Also matching sockets, with USBs and white inserts, but that secondary)
I understand about leading and trailing-edge, but is this still the issue it once was, or can modern, decent-quality, LEDs cope with both (GU10, size)? Most dimmers are seemingly still leading, which surprises me.
My first port of call is usually Screwfix, and they have (had?) LAP, but the reviews are not good. Arlec - never heard of them - which are twice the cost and zero reviews. Schneider, but again very poor reviews. Even MK (£40 for a single?!) - zero reviews, but nutty price.
We had Deco fitted in our own extension a few years back, and they seem ok - although the dimmer flickers occasionally on some settings, but not sure if that's due to the weird Chinese 'tubes' it supplies Cough...
So, recommendations, please, and where to buy?
(SF sell dimmable GU10 by LAP, which claim to not be fussy about dimmer type. Any experience of these?)
Thanks
