    I thought it would be 1 4 and 6. Doesn't say on old backplate which is which. I'd assume from my first post that 1 is red (hot water N/O) 3 has nothing in it? (where hot water N/C is on diagram) 4 is yellow (heating N/O) 6 is blue (heating N/C)

    That bottom diagram is the exact one I have. I understand linking L-2-5 but how do I establish which colour of the 3 core goes to 1 3 4 6?
