Basically is this dangerous or will it just cut out after too long/trying to pull too much. 

Thanks for that im assuming if the shower pulled any more than 32amp the mcb would cut out then. Shower is not used for very long so it has never happened.  Assume it would cut out before the cable, pull cord or shower etc overheated.  Would an 8.5kw shower be ok on a 32amp Thanks No the mcb...

Cheers had a few questionable electric wiring in the past so just wanted to double check why the earth wasnt connected but yea forgot that its a plastic box so doesn't need it.  Also thought that the blue would need to be connected to the switch plate but guess not. Told you it was a stupid...

Sorry just realised what i wrote there Yes the two blue wires join in a connector block from each end.  Its plastic switch plate and box Assume the earth would only need connecting if it was metal? The earch is in a cap end protector box

Sorry knowledge doesnt take me that far......what is the busbar likely to do if not caged correctly  The element do you mean in the washing machine? If so don't think it is that as it works when connected via an extension lead to a socket in the house. 

Sorry its the rcd thats tripping whenever the washing machine is on a hot cycle not the mcbs Then after its tripped and i put the rcd back on i seem to have problems getting the garage and the oven back on at the same time  (2 mcbs next to each other) both in the on position nothing re trips...
