How Do You put Your Materials Through Company

Oh dear oh dear... I have not trawled through all the posts, but i think i get the gist of it.. So, From the HRMC.. " The person or legal entity that runs the business, rather than the business itself, needs to register for VAT. If you are carrying out more than one business activity you...

    PME

No problem at all.. It is prohibited [or was] in section 708... Then we have the; "The Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations 2002" which state; Protective multiple earthing 9.—(1) This regulation applies to distributors' low voltage networks in which the neutral and...

    PME

Only a loony would connect a metal container to TNCS. There is a reason that this must not be done with a caravan. If anyone wants to stand in a coroners court being asked; "a caravan must not be connected to TNCS, can you explain to the court why you think this might be" they are welcome to...

How Do You put Your Materials Through Company

I was vat registered many years ago. I did not bother with "conventional" book keeping at all. Load of MASSIVELY over complicated nonsense. The ONLY record keeping i did was in a vat record book, In the "output" section i recorded every invoice i issued, the number, the date, how much and to...

    Going Back To work

One thing that REALLY pisses me off is idiots [and you get plenty on here too] that talk like idiots. "My sister gifted me a car" NO, they gave you a car or gave you a gift.. Or; "I changed out the batteries" NO, you replaced the ******* things. etc etc etc.. john..

Only half of lights on Circuit working

I think a neon screwdriver is a very useful thing as it is testing between what may be "live" and earth in "series" with you, which is exactly what you want to know.. Also, i think they are very good for a quick check of polarity.. john..

    Dbs check

So far as i know, you cannot get one for yourself. Your employer has to get one for you, and to do this, they have to have some sort of licence. £300?? So far as i know, they are not allowed to show you the results of the DBS either, what it came up with i mean.. Secondly, if you got one...

    Builders Lucky Escape

I do not think the bloke was working in has capacity as a builder. It stated that he was doing "an odd job" for his sister. I think the DNO are all mouth.. If the cable should not have been there, there is nothing they can do, be a bit like if you hijacked a car at gun point and the driver then...

    Builders Lucky Escape

I would tell then to get stuffed.. 1, how did it cost £24,000???? The people that fixed it have to be paid anyway. 2, looks like it is on the homeowners ground. As pointed out, i would be telling them that they have no wayleave agreement, it is trespass to property and get it moved. Further...

Can you check an automation components history?

It should be blatantly obvious if they are stolen. If you buy them and go to collect them from an active firm on an industrial park, then they are obviously legit. IF you are collecting them from pikeys that meet you in the motorway services, then they are not. How hard can it be?? john..

    Tesco Maintenance Engineers

Yes, but even if they DID make a mistake, they are under no obligation whatsoever to give someone a job. Even if they issued a contract, means nothing, as they can just as soon fire you. will make no difference to them.. What is the chance they give out electric vans though?? They are autos [i...
