    radial spurs

The end of a radial as you put it is the point with the highest r1r2. It has nothing to do with physical distances of anything but the cable. A radial can be branched at any point. I think the 16th refered to it as a multi outlet radial but to my eyes its just a radial. It matters not.

    Cheap multi-testers at WF

This meter is cheap rubbish and anyone purchasing it deserves all the problems they will get from it. I advise to steer well clear as a manufacturing glitch exists on them giving false readings.

Junction Boxes - how many lighting ccts?

12 in a 30am jb - i can hardly believe it. This is poor and shoddy practice to put multiple ccts in a "stripped" out junction box with connector strips. This type of practice sould leave everyone involved should be thoroughly ashamed but i doubt they are.

    practical test

i did a visual board with 12 faults, i found them in no time, simple stuff like sheathing stripped on the exterior of a accessory, wrong breaker covering a cct, poor bending radius, the minimum ip4x on a readily accesable horizontal surface breached, loose termination. Bread and butter stuff...
