    spur control in a kitchen

    Hi again I have just finished a part rewire in a house and the guy from the insurance is now saying that there should be a spur to control all appliances which are slid under the kitchen worktops. I know in new builds and rewires this is common practice but is there any REGS on this matter...

    I totally agree and I have already had a disclaimer signed to state that the client has been advised not to continue using, but they dont want to spend anything. I hope they see sense and just get it sorted.

    BREAKING CAPACITY OF BS3036 FUSES

    Hi folks testing 2 boards today and I have some Wylex 3036 fuses and some porcelin MEM 3036 fuses but there is no indication of the KA rating of these. Can anyone help? The pfc is 3.7KA so thinking of changing to the plug in breakers I am sure they are 6KA rated.

    photocell light staying on all day

    Hi guys just an update on the lights, Photocell was faulty and does indeed put light on constant as a fail safe.
