Evening gentlemen. Just wondered if anyone knows if there is any electrical testing within the units on the level 2 course where there will be enough to make it beneficial in forking out for an MFT?

Thank you gentlemen. @ Tony I sort of think I know how a single phase work but probably less clued up on that as I think TBF. Right 'now found some more literature online so I will get my nut down on this for the next 3 hrs then report back what I learned, but don't be surprised if its F.A

How it works mate. I understand its more efficient, and delivers more power but the fundamentals I'm lacking on. I know when exams come up I don't want to just know the answers I want to fully understand why. I suppose just keep revising it and hopefully it will sink in. 

Just wondered if anyone ever struggled to get their nut around 3 Phase and how it all works because I seem to be. Is there anything I am missing or why I cant seem to get on board. Just watched the mighty motor with Dave Austin which I am sure is brilliant if you knew what he was talking about...

I restored the calculator back to factory settings.  In my time of despair I must have changed all the settings on it because the button I originally thought changed the 10 now works.

FINALLY DONE IT HORRAY. Thanks for the help fellas.

At the very top I have a little m then in the middle a little square then the top right a triangle

It comes up syntax error, what makes it 100 times worse is I was doing it all the while when I first got the calculator and for the life of me not sure where I’ve gone wrong.

Unfortunately I couldn’t make head or tail of of Ardets numbers mate TBH I slung them in the calculator and all sorts were coming through. The funny thing is when I’m calculating resistivity using the 10 to negative it works fine and the answer I want comes in. Got a feeling this calculator...

Still no Joy. What ever I’m typing in on the calculator it’s not coming up with the answer 32 ohms.

Apologies. C=0.05 uf.          f=100khz I just can seem to find how to put the power 10 negative in my casio 85gt plus calculator. The answer is apparently 32 ohms but for the last 4 hrs I’ve had no luck coming to that answer.
