Sounds like the PSU is overloading. Increase the PSU. I assume your controlling the PTZ with signals via the coax? Unless you've got it wrong and if so you'll need to run another cable if you've only got a coax and a twin.

Vanilla android has the feature built in for tablets. What kind of tablet is it? Is there menu button whilst your in the contacts app? Usually 3 dots (depending on the OS version)

Cut the BNC and power plug off and soilder and heat shrink onto the cable. There's no need for the BNC if the join is decent.

Could always just not bother with the BNC at the camera end.....

Dont fit bullets for that very reason as they look cheap and nasty like a DIY install I fit domes and usually drill a 25mm hole and hide the cables in the wall cavity. If that's not possible you can get spacers for most domes. Any reason your fitting bullet cameras? I've seen some people fit...

When you remove mains is it just the inside or the outside that continues in alarm. What lights have you got on the panel when the mains is removed?

Try . whilst in engineer mode 199 tick It should show you the zone and its status. 2k2/6k8 or so many ohms for each zone. IIRC option 21 is the zone config option. Haven't don't scannys for a few years

I'd use composite (Rg59 + 4 cores) that way if the wanted to go for HDSDI or a ptz they can have it. I'd the customer isnt that bothered and are lettinf you spec the kit the likleyhood is they ... They aren't that bothered about what's installed and just want CCTV
