Working Out Amps For A 3-Phase Machine

Why would you assume a 37kW load? Since when has kVA ignored p.f? How on earth have you arrived at 53 amp per phase? Regards

Kme If we have a three phase gennie how do we tie the voltage down? Where would we connect the protective earth, now draw out the path. Do you think a 500kva can be floating? Regards

Wozz, The lighting Design is straight forward, just use the Manufacturers Tables and Guides, any queries just speak to their Tech. Dont group more than 5 circuits, post what circuits are within  the contatinment and we can see if we can help any.

Hi Wozz, you will need to show the drawing's for the entire system, when your ready we can go over the Thermal Constraint's using Adiabatic Lines :)

    4Mm Radial Off Ring Cct

Okay:) 1, BS7671 only provides several regs regarding Ring Circuits, it doesn't provide the design. 2, The onsite Guide contains a design for a ring circuit, certain parameters need to-be met. 3, In what the op is describing, it differs from the IET design, so you need to be competent to...

    4Mm Radial Off Ring Cct

Okay, I apologise. Though, you mention PD, Horse electrocuted, Faraday Cage, Bonding, hence why it's seems you are referring to touch voltage. I'm all ears Steptoe, I'm interested in what it is your designing to?

:slap :slap Did you miss this part,"PME is a variant on TNC-S, its how the PEN is Constructed that Makes a TNC-S a TNC-S PME, what is it im confusing, please?" PME is not an Earthing System!!!! Reg 312.2 Types of Earthing Systems (and arrangementof Live conductors) , Have a read!! Pme is not...

    Swimming Pool Installation

Chris, your post #42, a correctly designed and installed PME system will not divert, i.e. export neutral fault currents outside the installation where the fault lies. Its simple, With a TNC-S you will get Diverted Neutral Current, now whether that is Diverted Current due ro a fault on the Pen...

    Swimming Pool Installation

Troll LMFAO Well your more than welcome to debate the points raised if you know better, the only contentious issue is that to which sidewinder was angleing too, that of PNB and the Neutral Bond Position which actually presents itself as TN-S, but thats another story. I will reply in the same...
