    110v or 230v Dewalt radio

Will the 110v radio then need a 3 pin lead to plug into the transformer?

    110v or 230v Dewalt radio

I'm looking into buying a dewalt radio. The radio i'm after is available at 110v or 230v. Am I right in saying that the 230v radio can be plugged straight into an extension cable but a 110v radio would need to be plugged into a transformer?

    Bathroom extractor fan

    another bathroom extractor question

One final final question! :P Is 1.5mm 3 core and earth suitable? It's just that the isolator fan paperwork seems to suggest that 1.0mm should be used.

    another bathroom extractor question

Thanks guys. 3 core and earth from light to isolator then isolator to fan it is then! :)

    another bathroom extractor question

Just to get this right guys - If taking the feed from the light to the 3 pole isolator switch, do you use 2 core and earth (switch live and neutral) or 3 core and earth (live, switch live and neutral)?

    Intruder alarms - Testing

All the required tests once the alarm has been installed. What exactly do you mean when you say the supply is tested? There aren't any tests included in the literature. What test is actually carried out - Polarity?

Hi guys - I'm just after a wee bit of expert knowledge :D When installing an intruder alarm which electrical tests are carried out? Is it just the same as with all other new circuits?
