I suspect the back box was earthed by way of the socket so probably needed no Code. Check the socket behind the television is connected correctly.

I don't own this Guide and have no reason to consult it.

So the Guide itself professes to be the industry standard, it is not it just claims to be. Where is it in BS7671 so I don't have to search the entire book?
