    3D Printer Enclosure

Right then. I've only got 3Ah Makita and Bosch Li-ion batteries here at home. I've tried taking + & - from both battery makes (Makita & Bosch) to the + & - on the two new heat guns...and they don't work. As I said earlier both of the latest guns ran on a 4Ah Parkside battery in the...

    3D Printer Enclosure

Erm...no urgency...the usual case of can I rather than should I. Not overly fussed if it doesn't work even, it's the journey not the destination! Dead handy for use on site, saves lugging one 'o them big yellow batteries about... 😉

    3D Printer Enclosure

@Phoenix, so I got my possibly duff heat gun in Sevenoaks. Tried today in Gravesend, they had none in. Went to Dartford and got the last two but again boxes had been opened. Everything again looks intact. This time however there was a 4Ah Parkside battery lying loose. I stuck it in each gun in...

    3D Printer Enclosure

...either it is a dead 'un this heat gun (hence the open box) or it doesn't like Makita batteries. Fully charged battery here. Connected + & - to the tool, no go. Even tried connecting the "3rd wire", T on the tool, TH on the battery. Hmm...

I'll have a look in the two other stores nearest me for one and pick you one up if you want?  I'm just about to go try if it works on a Makita battery. Bloody @kerching distracted me talking about air guns earlier!

    Air Rifles

I grew up with "guns". Had a big brother, ex Army, had shooting rights on the estate next to us for years. There was often rabbits etc hanging in the shed or being gutted atop the coal bunker with the cat scrounging for scraps. As soon I was 16 I bought this air gun with my first wage packet...

Ta. Tried again, still blank spaces? I put the link in and a still of the video comes up with the link. When I save the post...blank? I've thus put the direct links in. The converted multitool when I got the polarity wrong on the adapter. Sounds louder than our Hotpoint WM does at the mo. Speed...

Looks nice with the green stock I must say. I quite fancy a pseudo military looking PCP rifle.  Original 45 here in .22. Bought with my first wage packet as an apprentice. An oldie but a goodie. I took the choke off the barrel, modded the sight rail, re-sprung it, refinished the stock, custom...

    3D Printer Enclosure

@Phoenix, I've just been to Lidl. Bought the last heat gun there. Box had been opened so either someone looking or they've put a returned one back on the shelf. Doesn't look like there's anything missing!  I'll stick it on a Makita battery and see if it works in a while.  The question is...

I don't think it'll be the brilliant Little Johnnie's dad coming to fix our POS Hotpoint WM next week. SWMBO reported a fault. Had an engineer booked to come Friday just gone. Before the visit we got an automated call. Answering yes to "Does it sound like an aeroplane taking off?", (seriously)...

Bugger! I've been driving past Lidl in the back of my mind thinking I must pop in for something I saw online in their "coming soon" section. It was for that very heat gun to run off my LXT batteries! I'll go and get one tomorrow. I can do an adapter no question. I'll have a quick look on...

    EICR requirements for Landlords

When you come across an install that requires notifiable work doing, on the back of your EICR, you'll need to be in a scheme really or likely pay through the nose to self notify your LABC...if they accept that route. Not all do.

I need MK 10 way plastic CU cover

I've literally only just found it. Sorry, 12 modules so 10 way plus the main switch. 300w x 225h. You could have had it for the postage.  How about a nice, bnib Memshield? 😂

    3D Printer Enclosure

Finished, it'll do. Only 10% infill which is down to my boy not me. Seems very lightweight. Took about 6 hours.  These "ragged" areas were supported. The quality is to my mind a bit carp. Tbh you don't see these when the adapter is fitted but it still bugs me! Be interested to see...

    3D Printer Enclosure

Epic fail, the ruddy reel label got caught on the new bracket, peeled off and stopped the reel rotating! Also...I forgot to include a screw hole(s) through the model so I can attach the adapter to the multitool. These 3D printed parts don't really like being drilled afterwards, you sort of...
