    There is some guidance floating about from the NIC man saying that they can be used but listed as a deviation. Makes no sense to exclude them in some situations, but they do not provide circuit protection just outlet protection.

    Too far for me... Is it a looped supply from the service head (main fuse) ?  UKPN don't like pyro or looped supplies and in some instances will replace FOC.

    Spent a month working in Egypt when I was younger, didn't go to the toilet ever but the ice cubes eventually sorted that out. Egyptian plumbing was less than desirable. Also been party to a bit of portaloo tipping a festivals.... :innocent
