    Screwdriver bit research

PZ2 or PH are the most common bits used. Sometimes use Robinsons number 2's and small torx. Only really buy a few at a time as I don't seem to get through them that often. Mostly use flat heads, if you can find a way of making them any use in an impact driver that would be great. On the...

    ARMEG CHRISTMAS COMPETITION

Theres a fella I work with that lost all his tools in a site fire, the main contractor was at fault but its unlikely he will be getting his tools back, I bet he'd love these. :Pray ;)

I read the news today, oh boy!

Keep em busy and keep em distracted.... :shakehead The French obviously have plenty of time on their hands to go about rioting, to which I may add they are quite good at. Would love to go out rioting tonight but; the kids aren't in bed yet, I've got my accounts to sort for the man, then...

I read the news today, oh boy!

Can't help thinking brexit has been made up to further enslave us.... In 2009 a tub of celebrations had +40% more weight than the ones we see today. Parking my car outside my house has just increased 60% for environmental reasons, just so happens that most small family cars fall into this...

I read the news today, oh boy!

I heard a rumour that kier group stocks were plunging and looks like most of the building industry is headed the same way. Looks like it will be an interesting new year! How do you say: can I wash your car  in Romainian??? :slap

    Timescales and finishing jobs

@Tony Soprano Sounds like your working for the same firm as me! I guess they're all the same In the commercial game, 'just get it done' seems to be the motto, no pride or care taken, just lash it in and hope for the best. That and all the chancers who have been in the job for 20 years...

    Premature cable collapse fixings

Hmmm.... I always thought 25mm choob was for two 4mm FP's, least that's how they do it here on Mars. We even pulled in a 16mm 5 core SWA for a 13a supply, just to make sure... And I wont forget the 75mm SWA for the 50 amp condenser which was supposed to be connected to a rotary isolator the...

Anyone got a spare £450 for a pad saw?

I suppose if you do millions of overpriced flats then it may pay for its self.  Much like a stud cutter, very expensive but cheaper than cutting stud off miles of tray on sites where grinders aren't allowed. . I wonder how well it would cope with 18mm ply or metal baterns!?!

    How not to do SWA...

10/10 for support! Looks like they forgot to get the kinks out toward the end. And possibly missed the pipe that was supposed take it underground. No doubt It works okay but looks rough as.

    Automatic Gates cable question

Looks like 🐕💩 to me & needs concrete pouring all over it. A bit of conduit or some copex done neatly would look less of an eyesore. But he's not finished yet and it's a bit early to pass judgment. 🐕💩

New one on me. Glass kitchen splashbacks

Yeah....  :shakehead Done a couple... Your measurements have to be bang on!  No margin for errors. The glass is usually backed with a colour or texture like a mirror. Good luck :Salute

    Brexit bloody brexit !!!

I listen to conspiracy theories about events of the past and can't help thinking do they do these things to help themselves? there is no brexit, just a mechanism of suppression.

    Inflation gone mad?

I collect unusual coins, rarely are they worth more than the face value but the kids like them. ;) More than likely the seller is expecting more to come in but has put that price to put people off trying to buy it. A bit like when when I look for car insurance and the top 3 quotes are...
