    Hanchuess batteries

Thanks @johnb2713 I know about the degradation and thanks for the reminder anyway. Nonetheless the less degration the better :) This is also what I tell other people (not only my wife :) ) Those batteries are not like those on a laptop or mobile phone. Pass the warranty, there is still...

    Hanchuess batteries

I like my investment to last :) I intend to have a cycle at least once a day because I want to earn passive income as well. This said. the panels are designed to last +20 years. so I do not intend to change them before that (even if by then, some will surely produce electricity both from the...

    Hanchuess batteries

I think it is not good to be too curious. I have been exploring the site @Oldman22 provided and I have found a battery 80% DoD at > 9000 cycles!! https://www.evlithium.com/CALB_Battery/l173f280a-280ah-lifepo4-battery-cell.html are those batteries so expensive that you don't find them commonly...

    G98 vs G99 Fast Track vs G100

Hello I came across this site and find it very informative, At least for the newbie I am and thought it could be useful for others https://forum.ovoenergy.com/my-smart-home-138/obtaining-import-and-export-permissions-from-your-distribution-network-operator-dno-9353

    Hanchuess batteries

Thanks. Where do you find such information? So the LF280K has a longer longevity but it does 0.5C while the LF100LA is 1C could this be the reason? Now I need to find out what cells HanchuESS is using...

    Hanchuess batteries

As expected their rack use a different cell than the one in your datasheet. Here is their response "The LF280K cells (280Ah) are not used in our rack batteries, our rack batteries use a LF100LA - so a different type of EVE cell." By any chance @johnb2713 do you have the same pdf from EVE but...

    Hanchuess batteries

Ahah @johnb2713 I said no DIY!!! :) so I am looking at the rack. Also the datasheet from EVE you shared with us is about different cells. So this could be why the rack as SoC 80% at 4000 cycles and not 6000 cycles as in the datasheet. However I will ask the question and report back :)

    Hanchuess batteries

Interesting thanks @johnb2713 Thanks to @Oldman22 I discovered the Fogstart Rack 51.2V 5.12kWh. They claim they use Grade A EVE Cells, yet their warranty is SoC 80% for 4000 cyles and 50% at 6000 cyles as reported above. Is there a grade above A ? I am surprised if Fogstart use EVE cells...

How to calculate the generation in kWh of the PV Panels

Correct here it is https://garydoessolar.com/utilities/dailymodellingutility/ There is a free and a payable version. He keeps improving it. Not sure if he is doing the programming himself or give the requirements to someone. I remember suggesting him sometime ago to add the possibility to have...

What would you do? Solar PV Install

West-East is also very good orientation. To give you an idea. I got my 4kWp in 2016 facing South East. Panels are 15% efficient. My aunty got her 4kWp in April 2022 facing West - East with panels 21% efficiency. I generate a yearly average of 3850kWh. She got 4100kWh her first year (ok she...

How to calculate the generation in kWh of the PV Panels

Here other useful links to size your system. https://app.opensolar.com/ It is an app some installers use but there is a free version of it or this one https://easy-pv.co.uk/ but it only provides list of components sold my midsummerenergy Both can help estimate how much energy in kWh will...

Comparing the performance of PV Modules/panels

Hello I made this comparaison table. It includes what I believed the parameters to be compared (I have the dimensions as I also use this table for my own project and try to optimize the space I have available and also classed them in 3 categories Small, Medium and Large. a kind of power range)...

    Hanchuess batteries

At the end I ask the installer to quote for the Frogstar. It is designed in the UK, the customer support is very responsive (so far) and from the specs it has better performance than the HanchuESS and longer life span. In addition, I always wanted the rack shape as it is easier to install...

    Hanchuess batteries

For info, as this battery seems to be pretty new https://www.fogstar.co.uk/blogs/fogstar-blog/to-boldly-go-where-no-rack-has-gone-before?fbclid=IwAR3UefGWJ3mFKY7b35lMfUIPMmkPA6989gzDwmeDjWC2KOOT5Yqi1KcZTMo

    Hanchuess batteries

Thanks @Oldman22 I like this shape they are easy to install. I read this in the specs Looks good. When you think that one year is generally a bit less than 365 cycles.

    Hanchuess batteries

I wish I could see that. Most of the time there is no such info. Do you have examples of datasheets where it says 80%? I have read the Solax, SE, Sunsynk. Polyntech, Growatt, Powerwall and only sunsynk states it and it says 40%. Thanks a lot. PS: I am not a dIYer as you know so won't go near...

    Hanchuess batteries

When I finally have my system installed I will definitively provide feedback. I owe you all this :) I just read on their warranty Not bad, I don't often see the SoC at the end of the warranty. Sunsynk has it and it is 40% !!! I did not know about blade technology. It seems BYD was the...

    Hanchuess batteries

Me neither until recently. Everytime I find an installer interested in my project, he comes up with new brand and of course they are the best :) I did mention pylontech to him and he said they used to work with pylontech up until 2020 but they had many problems with the brands and support is...

Hello does anyone know about this brand and this battery? https://www.hanchuess.com/LV-9.4K-battery.html https://hanchuess-file.oss-cn-zhangjiakou.aliyuncs.com/website/HOME-ESS-LV-9.4K.pdf What experience do you have about it? How would it compare to the SolarEdge 10kWh? BAT-10K1PS0B-02...

Any field experience about Vortex solar panels

I would agree, however, as I have room for larger panels and Vertex does not provide 550W or even 605W like Ja Solar. I think I am still better off with such large panels even if the warranty is less and efficiency too. The 550W is similar than the 440W shown above.
