    Covid19 profiteering....boils my urine

I saw a Facebook video of an Indian shopkeeper selling hand sanitizer for £15.99.  The customer walked out in disgust, leaving all her groceries behind.

Anyone else had a weird illness??

A relative of mine had pneumonia in early January.  We're wondering was she with the coronavirus.

    Trouble looming ...who knows ?

I hate this in the extreme, I think it is worse if you wear glasses.  There is a theory that Princess Diana's driver had his eyes blinded when he was driving down that tunnel.  There was a suspicious Fiat Panda there that night.

    Re-using old lighting fixtures

Somewhere in the Belfast docks. I don't think about it too much. I think they're called Eastwood's.  Our factory waste is all recycled.  There's lorry loads of scrap steel taken away to be melted down.  River Ridge and Irish waste take other recyclable streams.

    Re-using old lighting fixtures

Not worth the time or hassle  No electrician could be bothered supplying second hand parts. Everything is so cheap nowadays.  I throw them in the steel skip. At least they will be recycled and I don't have to feel guilty.

Do you think O2 or Vodafone would have waived the cost, if the same thing happened here?

    Espares

Funnily enough,  I got a phone call patched through to my mobile from some old doll who owned a 20yr old heater which  was never made in our factory and it was tripping her mcb. I could hear her husband rooting about in the background,  I talked her through turning the heater off and resetting...

    Espares

Belling is owned by Glen Dimplex. They would sell spares in bulk to e-spares. The fact that you are only buying one, leaves it uneconomical to sell you the part cheaply. We have a parts distribution centre which is staffed, it is there more as a service than a money spinner.  Management view it...
