    Vibrating fixtures

Have you recently changed your light switches from pvc to a new fancy chrome or brass? The tingling is a slight electrical charge. I'd guess like @Evans Electricthat the earth is not complete. You could have an earth wire connected to the lights and to the switches but it literally goes...

Brexit ! British car industry non existence ,make it on our own !

I did the same thing, I bought a new car in 2011 with 35 miles on the clock, it was preregistered in 2007. It was even MOT'd before I got it. The joys of the global recession.

I find this really irritating these days !

I find myself agreeing with a lot of what Trump says to be honest. His restraint when it comes to foreign policy is to be applauded. When you look at Hilary in Libya, Obama's use of drone strikes, George Bush in Iraq and Bill Clinton in Serbia. I don't think Trump is too bad.

Things you find in a loft

One of mates rents a house. Whenever he was changing tenants he discovered that the attic was full of used feminine pads. It was the teenage daughters bedroom she was just flinging them up into the attic. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮😉

    Where is the £ going?

Are you having a laugh. The UK will be stuck behind WTO tariffs, whenever they become competition, the tariffs will just be bumped up.

    Where is the £ going?

They reckon the £,$ and € will have parity by next year. They also reckon we are heading into a recession and a collapse in housing prices.

Will all the Polish electricians be going home now?

I'm working with a Polish automation engineer and the guy is a God send. He is **** hot and can put his hand to anything. He is on a salary and isn't afraid to work a 16hr day then go home and work on a cable schedule. That being said I've seen the odd donkey from Poland also.

    Well that was heavy

That's not a philosophy we go in for. More like..... Get the job done and then I'll think of something else for you to do.

    Well that was heavy

Job and knock. So what's that in English?
  18. rapparee

    Well that was heavy

I use a forklift, with 2" pipe, through the middle of the drum and the pipe across the forks. I then get in a genie scissor lift and she the MEWP to "tow" the cable.

The Madness of King George .........

So ten employees actually paid out of their own pocket for a digger driver and they then proceeded to get on with electrical work? I think I would have sooner dug the trench. Let the company learn from its mistakes.
