Rest in peace my dear friend . I will miss you so much.  One of the kindest humane person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  I will treasure the avatar you gave me all those years ago. God bless you .

    Tony S MEMBERS PLEASE READ

I have  just tried to ring him on the last mobile number I have for him , it connected like a single engaged tone and went straight off.

Would you have chosen another trade in hindsight?

It was closed book too. The practical was three hours too if I remember correctly , with two scrutineers.

    'eres something I never understood.

As said only a Hackney Carriage can pick up on the move, they used to have the for hire illuminated , but I think that is a thing of the past now.  Private hire are very strictly controlled and it is illegal for them to pick an un-booked fare up.

    'ere,s a funny thing !!!

To be fair the old moggie was capable of 40+ mpg , and the Mini even more. And they were not scrapped like the  modern all singing all dancing  new stuff are scrapped because they are beyond economic repair when their fancy electronics and overpriced parts  fail.

I am sorry to hear that Phil , If you see or contact Tony tell him I am asking after him.   Tell him I need a hand with an old  150 Rb, that might make him smile.   Nice to hear from you again too. I think about you all often . Take care mate , and pass my regards on to Glen too if you see him.

Microwave starts going around when you plug it in

A quick Google. Magnetron, Move Over! Magnetrons can be incredibly dangerous, while you are safe from radiation when they are not powered, the ceramic insulators can contain beryllium oxide which can be fatal when inhaled. If Magneto is the enemy of the X-Men, the magnetronis the enemy of all...

Microwave starts going around when you plug it in

As the above two posts. Microwaves can be very dangerous if taken apart . There is a component that is extremely dangerous. Again - be warned.

Fire alarm shows fault when pub gets busy

Just a thought... How hot does your kitchen get at high level when the pub is really busy , particularly the extractor ducting , if you have any? Excess heat and grease can do strange things.

    Song for Andy

I had a nuclear bone scan in the centre that he did so much to open. He was an amazing man.

Leaving them on the tracks was not unknown, not me of course. ☺️

    Lost -N- Found..............

You are one of the few... It is very rare that anyone brings them back. The price of workshop tools is nearly a mortgage job lol.  In fact most of the lads have a rolling account with the tool vans.   It is gut wrenching to lose them.
