It amazes me that money can buy you the right to drive a high power car that can cause more havoc than a runnawy artic , then to ride a motorbike an experienced driver has to go through a series of tests before they are allowed to drive the 'fast stuff'. unless you have a side car on off course...

Well  to be fair we test diesels and petrol vehicles and use the additives when some fail the emission test, most times it clears the crud and no further work is required . Certain supermarkets and 'not well known stations around here are notorious for dirty diesel to the extent of destroying...

You are right rap, cheaper diesel does not have the additives that the better refined fuel has , especially a few years ago with the lack of decent anti waxing in the winter with the spot market fuels.

I know lol,  They were a good old system in their day.  I used to fit the old membrane keypad ones . I know of one that is still working fine.  Changed the code a couple of times though , worn out or a dead give away. :)

As above , if the panel has power to it the bell box will have an independent power supply that will run for quite awhile after the tamper wire has been cut .  They are supposed to time out , but those older systems can run on for about forty minutes.  I would get someone to see to that or you...
