    Powering 19v DC motor.

Good luck with that one. If the battery and charger are still working and the tool failed (Drill, grinder, saw etc) will they not just buy a new bare* tool ? I just looked on ebay there are lots of cheap (£30) NEW battery drills (and charger etc) But that is it, they are all cheap, which means...

    Brother E550W heat shrink tubing

I would say that using printable heat shrink sleeving is the way to go. I wouldn't bother with covering it with transparent sleeving. I have not tried it personally, but it does look nice. For the price I would buy a set of large tape and test it click me

    Powering 19v DC motor.

John Morton, you can buy a 19.5v power supply for £19 Click me, but I have to agree with Andy, that the motor will have hardly any torque, but will make a good fan. I too have found an electric grass trimmer Click me (This will be cheaper than buying all the parts to make one.)

For what it's worth................ Seen this bloke on YT looks on the beach, he has (For want of a better description) a very small excavator bucket (No, I really mean small) on a "stick" it's covered in holes, when his detector "beeps" he pushes his "bucket" into the sand with his foot and...

    Wiring question

But only 3 wires have been connected by the end user. There would be no reason for the end user to add a wire that is not required. (Also, how could the OP add a wire?) Taking the above to be correct, the instructions are wrong/out of date. I have to agree with special location Also Black and...

Homemade Christmas Nativity hut lights question

As poni says, you need a power supply that is the correct voltage (12) and can supply enough current to operate the lamps. I would suggest this one Click here

Cylex Wall Mounted Electric Heater not working

Agree with binky, but just wondering, do you have any more information about it? I.e. make (Cylex) model rating? I was wondering if there is an alternative, it looks like a standard wall mounted heater.

    Any iTunes experts on here?

Just saying, iMazing works, but it costs £55 as a one off/ lifetime or £35/ year. Trial (free) version does not do everything and limits you to 51 downloads/copies. 🙁

What happens if you sign in to iTunes on your iPad? will not all your purchased tunes be on there to download? (Sorry, but I don't have an iPad, hence the question)

Is this possibly caused by poor earthing?

Check-a-trade make their money by charging trades people/companies to advertise. They don't actually check the work done, and rarely remove people who get it wrong. If you answer the questions and have money anyone can join.

How do we find out if our building has rising mains?

My first place was a maisonette, it was exactly like blackcat says. (Top looks like it too) The whole of the floor (1st in my case) was mine, only "hidden" cupboard" was under the external stairs, and that was where I had the gas meter installed. (No gas when I moved in) The electric supply...

    12v LED van lights

daisy, a car is not wired the same as a house. What you would normally do, is take a wire from a spare fuse, (This is the positive +ve) take this wire to one side of a switch. From the other side of the switch go to the first light's +ve connection. From here you then go to the 2nd, 3rd & 4th...
