Thank you for the wiring diagram, I did take some photos, but helpful anyway. I have used this machine on a DIY basis for 20+ years and never had a power cut during use. So not much of a safety risk. What about thermal overload? The WT22-555 switch I seen is rated at 10Amps perhaps that deals...

Is the solenoid switch necessary?  I can get one without for £15, with is £44.
