    Yep. Yep. I used cat5e. It had the rj45 connectors on either end. Then I went to Screwfix and got a female to female connector. For a few quid.

    You can if you are installing it in the cu. Mine was separate and I just put a plug on the end.

    Anyway I bought a rj45 10m extension and a rj45 female to female connector. As I didn't have room in my consumer unit I purchased a Wylex WBE3 IP65 3-Module and mounted the metre in that.

    From what I've been reading it looks like most of the company's sold the leases to financial company's so the majority of the 25 year lease has been continued.

    Problem is most mortgage company won't lend on it so it could be a problem down the line when it comes to sale time or if I want to release funds.

    I've not got that far yet Murdoch. If they are leased I will just walk away. I don't want to start the solicitor as obv costs will occur if it's a case of a simple phone call.
