. I’m going to position the spot lights in the positions where the 4 bits of tape are, the one that’s going to be above name plate has a baton of wood where I need to put the spot light. Anyone ever ran across that problem or any ideas what to do?

I understand what your saying mate but what do I do with neutral at new single gang switch? Put it into a piece of term block the same way they are at my existing switch?

Sorry got mixed up, atm I’ve a 2gang2wayswitch (Existing) I take a twin @ E from existing switch to new 1way1gang linking the L N E across Then I carry across 3core&E from 1gang to the sensor,  Live to sensor live switch to sensor switch neutral to sensor neutral E to E At the 1gang...

LoL So the 3core gets used at the original switch, but the 1gang 1way (new switch) only has com, L1 and E? Obv com-com switch-L1 E-E N-?

What terminals would the 3 core & E get wired to if there’s only  com L1 E cheers mate

Is it a 1gang 2way switch I’m needing or 1gang 1way Cheers

Thanks mate, is an override switch just the same as a 1gang 1way switch? And are all the blacks in the term block on my pic the neutrals? And would any of those cable runs be 1.5mm or all just 1.0mm 👍🏻 Thanks for the reply 

I’d quite like a separate single gang switch only to work the outside lights and not be mixed up in a 3gang with toilet and hall light. Could I take a 3core&E 1.5mm from existing 2gang Put it into 1gang switch inside at door  Run 3core&E 1.0mm from 1gang to sensor Then run T&E...
