Suggest you check if the givenergy inverter is a G3, iirc it has a slightly higher throughput than earlier giv models. Compare the solax and giv battery sustained discharge rates thru the inverter, if one is much bigger than the other then that's something to prefer imho, a kettle will pull...

Hi Ollie, suggest you take a look at the generation you'll get from the S.E.W. PV system. You can get an idea of generation potential for your location with PVGIS or easy-PV and see how little you'll get p.a. or p.c.m. to help you see if it gives a worthwhile dent in your electricity...

Seems to make sense then, that's good. Pvgis has a nice irradiance diagram showing variation across uk and europe if you're interested.

You might find pvgis useful too for judging generation, it's less detailed than easy-pv though.
