    Lost rope end

So in the 70s being garbwas legal. Exactly my point.  What kind of charges would a 'straight' 70s performer face then?  And why would they be rare?

And absolutely none taken. I am not saying thay I would not react on the way you would. I would like to think I would. All I am saying is we should not pass judgement on those that for whatever reason choose not to put their life on the line.

It is very easy to talk a good game. I can see from both side but I do not by this macho pidgeon-poop.  There is a vast difference between dealing with a horric event after and dealing with a horric event during. When I decided to become a father I made a desicion to always put thst child...

Terrible events yesterday.  Very sad.  However; it is all very well sitting back and saying others should have done more. Especially after the event. With all due respect @apprentice87 you were not there. You do not know what happened. Many times I have looked back at an event and said to...

Tie a plastic bad on to a new rope. Put the bag end down the duct. Then get a leaf blower and blow away.

    That was quite strange !

Well the footage I was watching clearly shows England fans throwing chairs and fighting before the match. Except for the trouble within the ground the English were giving as good as they were getting.

:Welcome: Speak to any wholesaler. They will be able to help you. We had something similar built by Newey and Eyre recently.

No risk assessment or asbestos survey. Is this a norm for an electrical company in England?

Those are quite shocking statistics. Very powerful.

No risk assessment or asbestos survey. Is this a norm for an electrical company in England?

Yes but your rate will be dependant on what insurance you require.

All sub-contractors should hold their own insurance. Is this really up for debate?

They do already. It is called non-licensed asbestos awareness. It allows you to work wth non-licenced asbestos such as flash pads.

No risk assessment or asbestos survey. Is this a norm for an electrical company in England?

The problem is this type of talk.  It is usually the older generation that have this approach. Putting people at risk in order to make a living is unnacceptable in any way, shape or form. Yes asbestos undisturbed is fine. But unless you know where ACMs are when you are working how can you be...

No risk assessment or asbestos survey. Is this a norm for an electrical company in England?

The asbestos register is not the correct document for these type of works. If you are working to this document then your employer is breakin the law. The register is only meant as a 'guide' and must not be worked to.

No risk assessment or asbestos survey. Is this a norm for an electrical company in England?

As I said, we are still seeing 4000 deaths every year. These death s are now the result of these people working without protection years ago. It is simple unacceptable to say things like 'most asbestos is not dangerous'. It is that bad advice and attitude that leaves people not to properly...

No risk assessment or asbestos survey. Is this a norm for an electrical company in England?

4000 people died in 2014 due to asbestos related disease. The figures are horrendous and is still the biggest killer in construction and will be for many years. Anyone that thinks asbestos is not dangerous clearly does not understand it.   Yes undisturbed is not a problem but it only takes one...

BS7671 is full of stuff that is completely pointless.

For those who like to be ahead?

At least people can stop moaning about non-combustible CUs now.  That is getting tiresome. As the US have been using these for some time now hopefully most of the bugs will be sorted before they are finally released here.  We also do a lot more in-depth testing here prior to putting a circuit...
