    Fat sparkies weight loss club

Very good advice @Richard-the-ninth. With exercise I think it's important to find something that you actually enjoy doing, then you're much more likely to stick with it. Whether it's walking, playing football, going to the gym or in my case, aerial hoop. If you like it then it wont feel like a...

Not that I'm planning on giving up jointing, but I suppose it's good to have something to fall back on... :D

@Phoenix, just a little tip. It might be worth getting a tape measure out and actually take measurements in inches (no, not there! :slap  ) to keep track of your weightloss. If you start exercise and gain muscles then you might find you get disheartened because the actual weight on the scales...

    What's your favourite tool

I'm sure there was plans for a forum wet tshirt competition last year, but it never went ahead on the basis that me and steps were the only participants :slap   11kV is nicer than working on LV stuff. For starters it's dead, so no need to wear all the live PPE plus there's generally more room...

Cheers kerch :)   I'm girly, but a pink hard hat is just one step too far :D  I'm qualified to work up to 11kV, but I'm gonna try to put my name down for a 33kV course. I'll probably have to wait for a while, it doesn't run very often and I'm only just qualified but it's another skill I would...

Thank you :)  All I'm waiting for now the relevant people to produce the relevant paperwork and then yes, I'll be a proper jointer. And I get to replace my blue hardhat with a nice new yellow one.   Thank you Dave :)

    What's your favourite tool

Yes you're right. I could say "it could be this or that, but I'm not sure so I would seek advice from another jointer or team manager". Which is what I would do if I actually was in that situation anyway.

Thank you @M107 :)   Cheer Deke, but you know what I'm like with assessments and exams. I turn into a proper stress head.  But I'm gonna try my best and if they ask me something I don't know I'll just be honest and say that I don't know. I don't wanna guess it, because they are looking at how...

    What's your favourite tool

@kerching I would say yes, but I would have to seek advice on the matter from someone who had actually been born at that time. :P   Trade test so far has gone well. I have never been this stressed in my life, but I have passed the four jointing elements, the written LV paper, a theoretical...
