    Discharge is inverter capacity dependent..... My Solax X1 AC 3.6kw inverter will briefly discharge at 4000w then drop after 30 seconds to around 3000-3680w..... slightly different from specs... for Solax T58 Master plus Slave 11.6kW

    Solax Master and Slave is 11.6kW and is HV many threads discussions on the pros and cons LV vs HV I went with Solax HV in the end, Master and Slave 11.6kw with Solax X1 AC 3.6 inverter.... as my solar pv array is Solax X1 Boost 3.6kW G98 was installed prior by some years.

    If you are going to locate batteries in loft, the existing cable 4mm2 in loft to CU downstairs, imho will not cut it, for both Inverters and Batteries, probably would need 6mm2 twin and earth upgrade... there are tables that you enter details of cable size, and distance to get a known voltage...

    That’s same conclusion I made but dependent on Inverter capacity Output. My inverter is 3680w <16A G98. Bigger inverter required for larger output 5kW to output 5000w requiring Full G99 >16A Application with extra cost implication from DNO. I never asked that question to the DNO.
