    Andy your saying look at 544.1 to me thats main protective bond 10mm so run a separate 10mm earth with a 4 mm 2 core armoured. Just doesnt seem right

    RIght andy i test houses with no garage supplys what so ever all i have to know is whats a main protective bond a supplementary bond and thats it a dont know is my answer an earth equipotential bond ?or can it be worded main equipotential bond 10mm ?

    On an answer previously im just saying it was mentioned that the armour as an earth wouldnt be big enough for a 4mm 2 core thats if any equipotential parts in the garage.Im thinking why not surely the armour is equal to a 4mm core that would of been there if the armoured i was using was a 3 core

    Forget about the total separate tails with db1 and db2 nothing wrong with it worked it out myself .As far as the armoured from house board in to garage definetly rcd protection cheers for your little or no help on this one its like getting blood out of a stone when i ask something !

    Sorry i honestly wasnt thinking at all industrial sub mains are not rcd protected so why is it any different for a domestic sub main its being on domestic i just thought sub mains had to be rcd protected with the armoured being outside or underground aswell thats how ive been doing them so...
