    Sorry , bear with me , when it goes off the NEW kitchen ring AND NEW cooker both go off ALSO the remainder of the ground floor power ring which is on a 30 A fuse - power comes back the RCCB is not tripped and doesnt have to be reset and the fuse in the 30 A isnt blown.

    Those initials mean nothing to me (anyone else) but if "7200" is a figure for insulation resistance then no it does NOT sound right. What is the PRECICE heading of the column for that figure? [/quote could it be a "T" ? ive got a photo but cant find a way to upload from computer - just a URL

    ok Andy , but does this unit not actually "trip" off? and any ideas why I am also losing the rest of the ground floor when it does go off as thats not on this RCCB ring?

    got 3 sheets of NA/EC/001 (V1) - sheet 3 right? its a bit scrawly but does 7200 seem right? its that value for both cooker & ring for live/live & Live/earth

    thanks for all the replies - the installer did put the RCCB in which now supplies the kitchen ring and an all electric cooker but I believe he fed it from the old fused ground floor ring , now its the entire ground floor thats going off and on and theres no common denominator - once the washer...
