Seen on occassion when the swa connected to non - metallic enclosure and armour not connected to MET , having that physical cpc core then at least gives some protection. Im with Noz on this , better to have too much than not enough .

I was always shown by my employer that a seperate core was to be used for the cpc , dont rely on the armour .
