John I have thought about the points you have mentioned and made me skeptical and from other users like Andy has pointed out. My conclusion is that in the short or long run i could face damage to the alternator. So before i do anything i am going to research more electrician here in my area...

okay stepteo i think what you are saying is that the alternator cannot produce power to both batteries with an isolator...
