Hi guys 13a sockets in bathrooms, I know need to be 3 metres from bath, shower and sink out of any of the zoned areas. It needs RCD protection, but can it be a dedicated RCD socket or does it have to be on a dedicated RCD (Distrubution board) protected circuit? I know it’s also notifiable. thanks

Hi all.  Where as I realise it is against the regs to use non harmonised colours, I was working in a domestic setting yesterday on a lighting circuit and came across 1.5mm twin and earth but the cable colours were “Blue and Black” does anyone know what country uses this colour coded cable?

Hi. I have just installed an external (public use) Steel defibrillator box with a 40w heater 240v mains feed via a RCD spur.   There is no exposed cables and although the heater looks to be double insulated there is three core mains.   should I earth bond or not earth the box.
