    Yes....An adaptor......Plug/Socket/Wires.... Thats going to work....So simple. Thanks Great help.

    First post...Noob question...Please excuse but..... Have they invented a clamp meter that can give me an amp reading with the clamp around the whole cable?.....or does the clamp (still) have to be around only the live? I do a lot of on site (marquee) wireing of lights/catering equipment...
